The approved colours of Staffords (FCI and KC) are: red, fawn, white, black or blue, and any of these colours with white, also any shade of brindle or any shade of brindle with white. Black-and-tan or liver are not to be encouraged. In fact, in the USA (AKC) black-and-tan or liver dogs are disqualified from the sow ring.
